Open since July 2003, Café
Constant, located on the corner of rue Saint Dominique & rue
Augereau, a few steps away from Le Violon d’Ingres, is where
the Constants have created a buzzing bistro which the French call
“a little troquet”.
“Here I cook traditional bistro food to my Grandmother’s
recipes. It’s a space where the locals can come for a coffee
and croissant early in the morning, a late night drink, smoke a
fine cigar upstairs”, says Constant, who acquired the café
from his neighbour, Madame Irene, when she retired.
